No need to head to Melbourne’s CBD for a government registry wedding, when you can do something even better and just as quick (if that’s your thing) right here on Phillip Island. The registry wedding is for the lovers and the groovers that just want to do their wedding their way! The Phillip Island Registry Office allows for you to get married (we will smash that ceremony out with class and style) so that you can rock on with your day!
If you want a very simple ceremony with just the required legal components we can have you married in a flash. Just like sneaking off for a “Quickie” but this time it’s legal!
What you need to do:
Lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage Form together with proof of identity, and any other relevant documentation with the Phillip Island Registry Office. Remember this needs to be completed a minimum of 1 calendar month prior to the ceremony date.
THE PHILLIP ISLAND REGISTRY OFFICE IS OPEN FOR WEDDINGS; Monday to Friday 10.00 am - 3.00 pm and Saturdays 9.00 am - 12.00 pm Got some other crazy idea and those times don’t suit, then hit us up and let’s see if we can make it happen!

Choose a wedding date and time using the Book Now button. You will recieve a confirmation and invoice within 24 hours so once that’s sorted you are ready to rock ‘n roll. Don’t forget to allow time to lodge your NOIM. (see step 3)
Remember, once you have emailed the NOIM to us this commences the waiting period of One Month. This can be lodged as far as eighteen months out from your chosen booked wedding date..
You MUST complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form and have it witnessed by a police officer, doctor, lawyer or Justice of the Peace - (as outlined on page 4 of the NOIM form.) - it can then be emailed through to start the 1 month waiting period.
WE MUST RECEIVE THIS FORM A MINIMUM OF ONE MONTH BEFORE YOU WISH TO BE MARRIED.
Already on the Island or visiting ahead of your booked wedding date? Then you can also make an appointment for the NOIM to be witnessed by us, the Celebrants.
Email the NOIM form along with photos of passports (or birth certificates and drivers licence) and divorce/death certificates if you have been previously married.
This can be received by us before the wedding if you do not have all the documents ready when emailing the NOIM form.

On the day, arrive a 5 minutes before your booked time, one of our amazing celebrants will be there to guide you through your legal ceremony, saying those few legal words and complete all the official paperwork. How easy is that?!
